Senior Coach Mostafa Nehad joins the club

We are excited to announce that Senior Coach Mostafa Nehad (Coach Mo), specializing in foil and épée, will be joining Sydney Beyond on the 19th of September. Coach Mo brings with him over two decades of coaching experience at both club and elite levels, having previously served as the Egyptian National Coach. Most recently, he coached the Saudi Arabian national team during the 2023-2024 season.

A highlight of Coach Mo’s achievements includes guiding his 17-year-old student, Tolba Abdelrahman, to win a bronze medal at the 2023 Cadet World Championships in Plovdiv. Tolba went on to qualify as an Olympian for the Paris Olympic Games and currently ranks 2nd in the FIE Junior Men’s Foil category and 19th in the senior rankings as of September 9th, 2024.
